We are a Crain’s Fast 50 company searching for an experience HR Generalist with outstanding analytical and communication skills to help guide our quickly growing team. As a HR department of one, you must be able to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, candidates must exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and policy administration.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities  


The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for handling internal HR related matters.
  • Participate in administering organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Keep up to date records of staff, time off, performance reviews, etc.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Meet with leadership team on a bi-weekly basis to escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist with benefits and payroll administration.
  • Perform various other human resources duties on an as needed basis.



Education and/or Experience     


Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in an HR Generalist role.


PHR/SPHR Certification, Bachelors Degree in HR, or equivalent, required.


Must be proficient in Microsoft Office


Real estate industry experience preferred.

The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated ability to problem solve with minimal direction and supervision; in a professional manner. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage time effectively, and ability to compile information and create reports are a must. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have the ability to work under pressure in a quick paced environment.
