Provides advanced generalist support to the department in the areas of recruitment, benefits, compensation, and special projects. 

Essential Functions:

  1. Tracks and assists in completing and processing the paperwork for FMLA, Short and Long Term Disability benefit;

  2. Assists with the maintenance of benefits administration in HRIS.

  3. Assists employees with benefits questions and issues;

  4. Assists with audits and analysis of plan participation, claims and expenses.

  5. Participates and assists in monthly benefit orientation and annual open enrollment including, documenting benefit enrollment information into HRIS system.

  6. Conducts research and analysis in different areas involving compensation, such as compensation statistics and market analysis.

  7. Conducts position evaluations, job classifications, prepares job descriptions, assesses the budgetary impact of compensation decisions and provides oversight of compliance with regulations and labor laws.

  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

 

Requirements

BS degree in Personnel Management, Human Resources or related field and five (5) years experience in a staffing or generalist function in a health care environment; strong in-house consulting and interpersonal competencies, sound knowledge of compensation program methodology/structure, and the processes and procedures in the daily operations of a healthcare Human Resource Department. Strategic, critical and innovative thinking skills are essential.
