The Human Resources Generalist at Mollie Stone's guides, partners and services the Store teams throughout specific locations within the SF Bay Area. The Human Resources Generalist will be the first point of contact for the assigned locations and is responsible for performing HR-related duties. This position carries out responsibilities in a wide array of HR functions. As part of the Human Resources team, this individual administers and ensures compliance of HR policies, delivers human resources-related communications of all types to both, employees and vendors. This individual manages and strengthens the Mollie Stone’s brand and presence as an employer of choice in the SF Bay Area.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Administers and maintains all human resources related activities within the employee cycle for specific Mollie Stone's locations including: recruitment, onboarding, benefit administration, worker’s compensation, labor law compliance, LOA administration, performance management, disciplinary action, unemployment claims, HRIS management, training and development, etc.
  • Administers and ensures compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Collects, maintains and analyzes HR data; makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Works in collaboration with the HR Team members in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
  • May prepare internal employee communications as required.
  • Works timely with our Payroll department to ensure records are accurate.
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all information within the HR systems.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Supports HR project execution and follows up.
  • Balance multiple priorities and work under established timelines.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in California as a HR Generalist or similar position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent related experience
  • HRIS experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or Industrial Psychology.
  • SHRM Certification.

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Lifting: min. of 25 lbs
  • Standing: Up to 4 hours per day.
  • Seating: Up to 7 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 4 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 1 hours per day.

 

Travel Requirements:                    

                                                                                                                   

  • Independent and reliable local travel 20% of the time.
