 The HR Generalist will be based in Fremont, CA.  You will be responsible for providing Human Resources support to employees and managers, as well as day to day HR operational responsibilities. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of a high performing HR team and contribute in areas outside of your primary responsibilities.

 Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Provide additional support to the Talent Acquisition Team and NEXTracker Management Team with recruiting – evaluating candidates against a job description, perform initial screening, etc.
  • Manage Immigration cases with outside counsel and management team
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding experience
  • Facilitate Employee Engagement activities across the organization
  • Provide general HR support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Support transactional activities related to all areas of HR
  • Apply knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
  • Support other special projects that may arise

 

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

  • A BS/MS degree (or equivalent) in Business, HR or other technical discipline
  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting in a high growth environment
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience in technology industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR programs including compensation, benefits, performance management, immigration.
  • Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters
  • Ability to make timely, effective, principle-based decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; an articulate and persuasive communicator including strong presentation skills; some analytical and problem-solving abilities
