The Bilingual Human Resources Generalist will ensure high-quality standards for all human resources activities, initiatives, and tasks within designated areas of responsibility in, adhering to all service level agreements established by the HR organization in English and Spanish.


The Human Resources Generalist manages the people management-related agenda at the internal client. The generalist manages change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communication in English and Spanish. The generalist does not act as the HR Consultant; the partner shares the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery.


The Human Resources Generalist will provide salaried recruiting support to include sourcing candidates, responding to applicants, prescreening of candidates, resume screening, scheduling interviews, phone interviewing, social media marketing, applicant tracking system management, and community outreach. The incumbent in this role will be groomed for a promotion to HR Business Partner within 2-3 years. 



  1. Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
  2. Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the client’s side in English and Spanish
  3. Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally
  4. Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client
  5. Successfully administer key components of Morgan’s onboarding process in support of high-volume hiring initiatives, ensuring a fulfilling new hire experience in English and Spanish
  6. Respond to questions on administrative HR procedures and practices via multiple channels within our HR Shared Services center (e.g. e-mail, phone, and case management system). Answer HR policy-related questions, provide guidance to both managers and team members, and escalate as appropriate
  7. Educate clients of services available to them and encourage self-service tools such as Dayforce (Morgan’s HRIS) and other systems
  8. Educate critical HR initiatives to deliver best-in-class employee services
  9. Utilize Dayforce to process specific team member-related transactions, in addition to auditing work performed by other members of the team
  10. Creates job postings and places ads/postings in English and Spanish
  11. Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants
  12. Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants in English and Spanish
  13. Schedules and participates in interviews for applicants
  14. Conducts reference and background checks
  15. Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities in English and Spanish
  16. Maintains records on recruiting activities as required
  17. Maintains the social media recruitment strategy in English and Spanish, which is aligned with marketing and HR communication
  18. Creates organizational announcements in English and Spanish
  19. Other duties as assigned.




Critical knowledge and competencies in English and Spanish required:

  • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. This includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver client service excellence – over the phone, through e-mail, or in all other interactions in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, consistently delivering results within required timelines and expectations.

  • Work collaboratively with others, creating partnerships with management, colleagues, and the rest of the human resources function.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Treat highly confidential information with the utmost integrity.



  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Must be Bilingual: fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience, to include:
    • Performance management and employee relations
    • Employee engagement
    • Investigations, including harassment, safety, and other workplace issues
    • Preparing documents for HR-related legal issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, various Social Media
  • Experience and ability to use HRIS and ATS platforms
  • Solid understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Strong understanding of succession planning
  • Must be able and willing to do administrative tasks as needed


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Prior experience coordinating HR-related programs and activities
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
  • Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) or related organizational membership.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
