Position Summary
Responsible for the design, development and delivery of Affirmative Action Programs and compliance related policies, procedures and programs in accordance with federal, state and local government regulations. This position provides subject matter expertise and management of the affirmative action planning process from end-to-end, including identifying proactive measures, managing stakeholders, and supporting execution.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the Company’s Affirmative Action Program (AAP) in accordance with Federal, State and local government regulations. Conduct analysis of all human resource programs to ensure compliance with EEO and AA laws and regulations. Consults with business unit leaders to create and ensure implementation of appropriate corrective action plans. Collaborates with internal partners to create and deploy a process that increases the compliance knowledge of HR professionals while meeting government requirements.
  • Serve as company representative for government audits of Company compliance with EEO and Affirmative Action laws and regulations. Obtain all required records and documentation as requested by OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract and Compliance Programs) while minimizing company risk by developing compliance strategy, evaluating investigation issues, assess company exposure to liability regarding government compliance matters.
  • Develop workforce statistics, adverse impact analysis, and critical self-assessment audits which assess impact and utilization of affirmative action programs for the business units. Review the outcome with HR partners and management. Recommend and assist in the implementation of appropriate and creative corrective actions. Compile and submit required annual governmental reports and analysis.
  • Develop and facilitate training on EEO laws and regulations, government compliance, and business unit specific compliance training requests.






Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business related field or 6 years equivalent education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years HR compliance, policy, programs, and process experience including the management of Affirmative Action Programs and OFCCP audits including performing statistical analysis and adverse impact studies.
  • Requires in-depth technical writing skills.
  • Expert level knowledge of federal, state, and local government regulations as they pertain to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Solid experience with PeopleSoft, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience conducting investigations into allegations of discrimination and/or harassment and responding to agency charges of discrimination is desirable.
