WE ARE GROWING and looking for an energetic, creative HR professional to join our team.  As a Human Resources Specialist you will be responsible for HR related duties in some various functional areas such as compensation, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, benefits, training, safety, and risk management.  This position requires well developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships. You will work with the Director of Human Resources to evaluate current processes, identify areas for improvement and efficiency and help prepare the department to manage organizational growth. Current focus is on Compensation planning and maintenance as we are preparing for anticipated growth.

*Develop and administer various plans and procedures in the assigned functional areas

*Participate in development of department goals, objectives and systems

*Interact with middle and senior management to identify strategies to better serve our team members

*Recommend improvements in efficiency and services provided in the assigned functional areas

*Coordinate departmental initiatives across functional areas with other HR team members

*Assist the Director with analysis of HR department effectiveness for ongoing improvement in all areas


Minimum of Bachelor's degree

3+ years HR experience to include a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience

Demonstrated leadership ability

Compensation experience with administering and updating company compensation plan;experience with development and implementation is preferred

Experience coaching team members for employee development

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional SHRM or HRCI certification highly desired
