Gelber Group, LLC is seeking to hire an intelligent, enthusiastic, hard-working individual to complement its Equity Department team.

What does the role entail?

 In this role, you will:

  • Manage visa and immigration processes (OPT, H1B, Green Card, etc.).

  • Perform benefits administration, including open enrollments, reporting, compliance, claims processes and communicating benefits information to employees (Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, flexible spending, commuter, FMLA, Workers Compensation, etc.).

  • Ensure company is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.

  • Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding. 

  • Maintain and update all employee personnel files and related records. 

  • Manage E-Verify system and I-9 document retention. 

  • Handle any employee relations issues. 

Terms of Employment

Employment with The Gelber Group, LLC is at-will, meaning that the Company or its employee may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice.  


What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field. 

  • 4 years of experience in a HR Generalist role. 

  • Thorough knowledge of the immigration processes.

  • Benefit program administration experience.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs: Outlook, Word, Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset. 

  • Solid time management, organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines.

  • Team player that collaborates well with others.
