 About the Job

 We are looking for an HR Business Partner to provide tactical and strategic consulting for people and organizational effectiveness strategies in support of business objectives. A successful HR Business Partner in this role will work closely with agency leaders and HR centers of excellence to solve complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions. Business partners will use data, business acumen, and relationships to design and execute strategies in a variety of functional areas including talent management, culture, work force planning, employee relations, and training/development.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Fully understand Mosaic's business model and industry drivers in order to properly consult on people strategy
  • Partner with local leadership to align HR strategy with business strategy
  • Use and request data strategically -- Identify and surface trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to help improve organizational health, understand when data will assist in making smart, informed decisions.
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state and federal employment law
  • Support leaders as they develop employees and effectively manage performance
  • Consult with leaders and HR centers of excellence on employee relations and compliance issues; conduct investigations
  • Work with leaders to develop solutions to address complex employee and business issues
  • Coach leaders at all levels strengthen leadership capability and effectiveness


About you

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in human resources or a related field
  • 5 Years human resources generalist experience, required
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment, required.
  • Proven experience in a consulting capacity in areas such as talent management, employee relations, succession planning, and coaching leaders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Experience in creative problem solving and change management.
  • 10-30% travel.
