CGI is looking to recruit an innovative, highly energetic and HR professional for the position of HR Business Partner to partner closely with our leaders, managers and associates. 
The HR Business Partner serves as the face of HR to our leaders, managers and associates. This position is responsible for providing HR partnership and consulting that will help build capability and develop employees creating the right talent, right leadership and right culture to grow our business. 
HR Business Partner Minimum Qualifications:
  • Preferred degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Effectiveness or related field.
  • 3+ years human resources business partner experience
  • Solid understanding of local, state, and federal employment law
  • Bachelor’s degree
HR Business Partner Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post graduate degree in related field or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of exempt level human resources experience in corporate environment
  • Strong business and HR acumen,  including ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Broad knowledge and experience in compensation, organizational planning, talent management, organization development and change management
  • Experience conducting and managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases
  • Exercise strong business judgment that is aligned with broad organizational philosophies and practices and is compliance with regulations
  • Proven track record in instituting and managing change
  • Ability and energy to engage and foster trust.  Seen as a trusted advocate by all employees
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player and collaborator – is excellent at leading cross functional initiatives and understands the impact of effective team work and communication
  • Innovative thinker and an effective communicator with  excellent influencing and consulting skills.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Makes effective decisions in ambiguous situations
HR Business Partner Overview:
  • Consults with, advises, and supports business leaders regarding change initiatives, workforce planning, performance management, change management, talent management & development, compensation, engagement, employee relations, culture, diversity and inclusion and HR programs and projects.
  • Strategically coaches and consults with relevant business groups to find the most appropriate solutions to meet the business needs.  Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Works effectively with managers and employees at all levels of the organization to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
  • Coaches managers to help them strengthen their people leadership skills; serve as a sounding board and confidant during difficult interactions and business situations.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising on needed actions.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
