  • Responsible for partnering with business leaders and with employees, at all levels, to deliver proactive and consultative HR solutions to meet strategic business needs, while building and maintaining trust. Experience attending and providing business insights into business team meetings.  Strong business acumen required. (Ability to read and understand business reports and financial data).
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on employee relation issues while providing tools to enable them to address performance issues directly. Experience handling harassment investigations and other employee related matters required.
  • Advise on job leveling and compensation through conversation with managers. Experience working with salary compensation tools and strong ability to work with managers and employees to assess experience, work activity, performance expectations and career potential while applying compensation concepts. (use of Radford Compensation a plus)
  • Assist in the management and execution of bonus plans and review employee compensation changes for accuracy. Experience working with sales and retention teams to understand and apply commission plan performance metrics and quotas. 
  • Participate in the development of a performance management process and provide management and employee coaching. Experience working in a high-performance culture where quarterly performance is assessed through manager 1:1 meetings and employees own the performance relationship with the manager.  Proven ability to be direct and drive company and employee accountability is a key factor for success in this role.
  • Participate in the on-boarding process for new employees to ensure that program details are considered and executed so that the that new colleagues experience a smooth and professional integration.  Strong knowledge of benefit programs and ability to facilitate training in an impactful and engaging manner.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, and day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership and employees
  • Assess employee engagement on a proactive, ongoing basis and identify solutions.  Experience working with engagement surveys and analyzing the results to provide business insights and strategies to improve future assessments.   Strong analytical skills and ability to create presentations to the business on people initiatives is required.  
  • Partner with recruiting team on talent acquisition related initiatives and collaborate on improving current talent related processes.  Ability to work with the business leaders to establish clear recruitment scorecards, performance metrics and on-boarding performance plans.
  • Support Learning & Development efforts including by identifying needs and facilitating training.  Ability to work with the Learning and Development Teams to translate the business objectives into e-Learning, department working sessions, curriculum outcomes and measurements for success.   
  • Educate employees and managers on essential legal, policy, and HR related processes to create clarity, efficiency and alignment
  • Create company wide communications that are engaging and informative regarding various topics.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment that uses SLACK (24/7 touch points), Email, Webinars, Company and Department weekly meetings, Monthly Company Calls, and ongoing employee training meetings.
  • Handle administration of required documentation and paperwork including strong ability to work in an HRIS System.  Must be self-sufficient to use system reports and analyze data.  Strong belief in understanding “why” something is being done and not just competent in completing a requested task.
  • Administer Leave of Absence programs and processes and manage accommodation process.  Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, Multi-State Leave Laws, and ability to apply these concepts to employee relations and performance issues.
  • Serves as conduit for all areas of the HR department, ensuring ongoing communication and transparency.  Must believe in transparency and strong collaboration across departments to facilitate timely and accurate information.  Proven ability to understand how to build consensus and balance employee and company objectives to develop a Win-Win solution. 


  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field and a minimum of 5 years' professional human resources experience in a fast-moving company.
  • Must be strong in employee relations and compensation. (At least 2 years as an HRBP supporting a business unit and participating in business meetings and initiatives).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Generally, at ease with technology and web-based tools for applicant tracking.
  • You are a relationship builder, able to converse confidently with associate level through executive level employees and candidates.
  • Ability to deliver on commitments in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Must be detailed orientated and want to research issues to find the best result.
  • A strong proven ability to understand business concepts and apply them to people issues is critical
  • Must come from a performance culture where performance is managed on a daily basis.
  • Think quickly on your feet and handle ambiguity.
  • Communicate well both orally and in writing and demonstrate professionalism and business acumen in your daily work.
  • Perform as part of a larger team and work independently to schedule and prioritize your work. 
  • Regularly assess your own performance and adapt your work to achieve better results. 
  • Believe in what you do and feel a vested interest the company’s success. 
  • Be ready to travel: This role may require infrequent regional and national travel.
