HR Business Partner - Director Level

The Human Resources Business Partner is an individual contributor with the knowledge, skill, and ability of an experienced leader in the areas of organizational development, employee relations, training, and/or instructional design.

The principal accountability of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is to effectively coordinate and deliver key human resources services across the MFA. The HRBP will work directly with the Head(s) of the Department(s), one or more Practice Group Administrators, and/or Functional Chiefs to strategically support the business goals of their respective business units by harmonizing and synchronizing their HR needs which include integrating the MFA Values in support of the cultural evolution of MFA. In addition, the HRBP will bring focus to employee engagement, workforce planning, resolution of employee relations challenges, and other HR generalist related work.

Requirements

Education

  • At minimum BS/BA required; preferably in Human Resources Management. 
  • SHPR or PHR certification preferred.

Experience

  •  5+ years of relevant experience with track record of influencing senior business leaders.  
  • Strong on Employee Relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities required Proficiency with Microsoft software (Excel, etc.) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability handling sensitive, confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and interact with all levels within and outside of MFA necessary.  Strong attention to detail and follow-up; and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. Experience with Ultipro a plus.

  • Exceptional communication skills that include clear and persuasive verbal presentation and succinct business writing.
