Job Description

CapTech is looking for an HR and Benefits Specialist to join our team. This position will provide support to the Human Resources Team on various operations and initiatives. Key specific job responsibilities include:

Duties/Responsibilities

Support the Benefits team in the following areas:

  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to reconcile monthly invoices.
  • Assists with new-hire orientations and open enrollments.
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Processes all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
  • Provides support with wellness program
     

Supports the HR team in the following areas:

  • Contributes to the completion of department projects and goals by performing tasks requiring discretion and general knowledge and ability.
  • Ensures all legal and regulatory requirements are met within the scope of human resources.
  • Supports staffing with client onboarding and required HR reporting.
  • Administers the tuition reimbursement program.
  • Responds to manager and employee inquiries.
  • Maintains employee portal by updating policies and communications.
  • Supports team with communication strategy for HR programs.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.
