Assess foreign nationals' immigration history to determine options for onboarding and facilitate immigration casework leveraging external counsel


Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the global immigration subject matter expert to Allegis's North American, APAC, and EMEA offices.
  • Advise the business on processing times, applicable sponsorship needed, risk associated, and costs for potential Candidates.
  • Conduct mock interviews in advance to any sponsored/visa subject employee traveling internationally.
  • Facilitate the processing of NAFTA, H-1B, L-1, E-3, B-1 and permanent residency cases with the support of outside counsel.
  • Maintain and review status reports and ensure extensions are timely initiated and ultimately filed.
  • Liaise with an immigration law firm and manage the flow of information and documentation all the while ensuring excellent customer service is being delivered.
  • Review third-party documentation and consult with business on any potential risk, issues/concerns, and strategy.
  • Manage and monitor Allegis' F-1 STEM program.
  • Facilitate in obtaining the requisite work permit for short- and long-term assignments across the globe.

Requirements

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
