General Purpose:
The Recruiting Coordinator handles full cycle recruiting and logistics for lateral attorney recruiting among all Holland & Hart offices. This position conducts the initial review of resumes and screening of candidates, coordinates interview schedules, collects feedback post interviews, conducts reference checks, and helps onboard new attorneys. This position is a key play to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinates lateral attorney, paralegal, select tax and government specialists recruiting activities and efforts for all Holland and Hart offices.
- Conducts initial review of resumes and screening of candidates by phone or in person as requested, Provides recommendations to Director, Recruiting Manager, and hiring partners. Responds accordingly to all applications.
- Leads full-cycle interview scheduling process, including direct contact with candidates and headhunters as required, coordinating attorney schedules, finalizing half to full-day interviews, distributing interview schedules, and opening/closing interviews or meeting with candidates upon arrival; Quickly responds and adapts to time-sensitive scheduling changes and urgent attorney and/or candidate requests related to upcoming interviews.
- Prepares and circulates reports, daily lists for other administrative departments, new hire paperwork and announcements regarding newly hired attorneys, summer clerks, and paralegals; Submits conflicts review and background check processes for all attorney, summer clerk, paralegal, patent professionals, and patent engineer intern hires
- Responsible for the travel and hotel arrangements and all other administrative details for local and out-of-state candidates.
- Coordinates attorney and paralegal onboarding logistics among multiple administrative departments for all H&H offices. May coordinate select intern or summer clerk onboarding logistics as well.
- Distributes and collects post interview evaluations; provides evaluation summaries to hiring partners.
- Conducts reference and fact checks.
- Serve as a member of recruiting-focused committees as appropriate; contributes to the preparation for such meetings.
- Supports Director and Recruiting Manager in developing and monitoring recruiting strategies and in carrying out the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Works with Financial Services to disburse bar stipends to eligible incoming entry-level associates.
- Monitors market trends and keeps Director and Recruiting Manager apprised of trends in attracting and retaining top talent, planning events, and other relative industry intelligence.
- Assumes primary responsibility for accurately entering data into recruitment databases, generating reports, correspondence, schedules, and other data requests as requested by Director and Recruiting Manager.
- May provide support in strategy and coordination for undergrad patent engineer intern recruiting, law school recruiting and annual summer clerk program.
- Provides administrative support for all special projects, as requested.
- Other duties as needed to drive to the vision, fulfil the mission and abide by the values of the organization.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of recruiting in a professional services industry required. Preferably law firm recruiting, executive recruiting, and/or other client-service industry recruiting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude
- Independent thinker; ability to be flexible
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, particularly regarding interview scheduling.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality

- Experience coordinating programs for multi-office locations
- Excellent computer and software skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook required
- Preferred experience with viRecruit, viDesktop, and UKG
Physical Requirements:

Schedule:
At this time this position allows for a hybrid schedule and our team members are expected to be in the office Mondays and Thursdays, with flexibility to switch days as needed with approval. Additional days in-office may be required depending on business need and the demands of specific tasks. The hybrid work structure may change at any time, including the number of in-office days requirement.

Holland & Hart offers of employment take into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Colorado Salary Range: $22.42 to $37.37. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
