$108,845 - $140,234

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia, is in search of a Program Manager, Employee and Labor Relations. This position is located in the Office of Human Resources and is responsible for performing a wide range of duties including: advising, counseling, analyzing, and investigating employee and labor relations matters. Other duties include collaborating with supervisors to write warnings and reprimands; ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements within the area of responsibility, and delivering Anti-Harassment, Diversity and Labor Management training, as well as, participating as needed with special projects and performing other related duties as assigned.

 

The desired candidate will have five-six years or more of progressive employee and labor relations experience and a bachelor’s degree. Applicant should have demonstrated working knowledge of EEO and labor laws, and concepts; able to conduct investigations of allegations and make appropriate recommendations; provide advice and guidance on employee relation matters; and effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Additionally, the incumbent must have effective consultation and influencing skills; ability to work independently; and be skilled in gathering information, data, and preparing reports for fact finding and analysis.
