We have an exciting opportunity for a Diversity and Inclusion Manager in the Atlanta, GA office at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and staff. 

The Diversity and Inclusion Manager is responsible for recognizing, creating and implementing plans to promote diversity within the Firm. This includes promoting and developing training programs to enhance employee understanding of inclusion issues. The Diversity and Inclusion Manager will work closely with the Director of Diversity and Inclusion in the coordination and implementation of the Firm’s strategic diversity objectives.


Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Manages the collection of data for internal and external surveys.
  • Manages and compiles information for client pitches and requests for proposals.
  • Creates statistical reports assessing key diversity metrics.
  • Researches and advises on diversity and inclusion issues and creates programs, training and values initiatives.
  • Drafts reports, presentations and memos for internal and external audiences.
  • Manages the diversity and inclusion content on the intranet and external website.
  • Identifies external trends and recognizes best practices to increase diversity among the workforce. 
  • Manages and coordinates the logistics for diversity-related sponsorships and events.
  • Manages the Firm’s diversity and inclusion social media accounts.
  • Represents the Firm at various internal and external functions.
  • Conducts research as needed to meet departmental goals.
  • Performs some administrative duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university.
  • Two plus years of experience in a law firm or similarly sized multi-office professional services organization. Previous relationship management experience is required.
  • Strong project management, organizational, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; able to prioritize multiple assignments and competing demands
  • Demonstrates a high level of service delivery to internal and external clients
  • Having an awareness of people’s difficulties and helping them overcome these
  • Being a strong communicator, leader and having interpersonal skills
  • Having an awareness of global and cultural issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates well with attorneys, staff, and all contacts outside the Firm
  • Takes initiative and follows through on projects
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
