Position Highlights:

  • Opportunity to develop and build a proactive Talent Acquisition Strategy responsible for hiring over 1500 professionals annually.
  • Works collaboratively with the Adena Health System CHRO to create a proactive workforce planning strategy that ensures an excellent patient experience.  
  • Partner with all HR leadership to recommend and seek opportunities for integration, leveraging of resources, and continuous process improvement to support current and long-term business objectives.
  • Marshal resources toward successful sourcing, branding, and attraction, recruiting, screening, and selection, hiring, and onboarding of high quality, diverse talent.
  • Integrate Talent Acquisition professionals, system leaders, external resources, and vendors, enabling platforms, and organizational design to achieve results.
  • Identify talent acquisition related opportunities, risks to the organization, and modifies strategy and procedures accordingly.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field required. Advanced degree in IndustrialOrganizational Psychology, Organizational Development, and/or Organizational Behavior preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in talent acquisition, with a proven record of successful development and execution of talent operations.
  • Five (5) years of experience leading a Talent Acquisition team. Previous experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Successful experience in managing ongoing operations and continuous improvement of talent acquisition functions, with documented strong results on metrics such as quality of hire, time-to-fill, recommend/hire ratio, first-year turnover, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Advanced experience with a broad range of selection and/or personality assessments, as well as, background checking services, sourcing and reference checking tools.  
  • Experience working with finance professionals and leadership to articulate the financial impact of process improvement and team performance improvements in order that additional investments in performance improvements can be justified and supported by the senior leadership team.
  • Experience and demonstrated success working with local post-secondary institutions to align and improve education to meet organizational needs.
  • Experience working with clinical leadership to articulate the value of hiring top performers by connecting new hire performance to improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
