Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated team member to help us build and scale a proactive recruitment strategy with a focus on sourcing and engaging top-tier talent. As the Director of Recruitment Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a talent acquisition strategy designed to identify and engage a strong pipeline of high caliber candidates. This is a new position that will help to strengthen our recruiting model, enable CCS to deliver on current and planned hiring needs, and, most importantly, be instrumental in facilitating the firm’s growth strategy. This is a highly visible role both inside and outside of our organization and this individual must be a leader.

You will work closely with the Vice President of Business Operations and Talent Strategy along with our Recruitment Specialist and regionally-based hiring teams to understand the dynamic hiring needs of our business and build relationships with job seekers and organizational partners (including universities and other relevant organizations and groups). Our firm actively recruits for full-time employees at all levels across all geographies.   

Outstanding candidates bring significant experience in recruiting, ideally at a professional services firm, a commitment and passion for service-based organizations, and ambition to succeed in a rewarding career.

Responsibilities

  • Set and define a strategy to achieve goals for outcomes tailored towards CCS’ growth goals
  • Build, develop, and cultivate strong relationships and networks to create a robust talent pipeline
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and strategic outreach, networking, and events strategy
  • Identify, source, and proactively attract highly capable talent through LinkedIn partnership
  • Manage existing partnerships with universities, identify additional partners and develop relationships over time
  • Identify and manage recruiting events, meetups, conferences and build relationships with industry partners; represent and be the voice and face of CCS Fundraising at job fairs and industry events
  • Drive and manage top-notch candidate experience through the recruitment process, with a specific focus on pre-application stages
  • Proactively network within the nonprofit development space; join industry groups and other organizations to develop and maintain a robust network of industry colleagues and peers
  • Some travel required 

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of HR and recruiting experience, with at least 4 years of experience in managing a proactive recruitment strategy; professional services experience a plus  
  • Proven track record in sourcing and attracting top talent
  • Working knowledge of diversity best practices and implementation of diversity strategy into the recruiting process to drive results
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Highest level of integrity and ability to keep information confidential
  • Strong verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to tailor messages appropriately by the audience
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work autonomously and take direction as needed
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated philanthropic values and commitment to service
