About The Role

We are hiring a Director of People to lead people strategy including employee experience, engagement, retention, company culture and values. 

You will work with all areas of the business, serving as a strategic consultant and Human Resources expert to help drive the delivery of our business objectives. Reporting to the Vice President of People Success, you will act as a trusted Human Resources partner to management and employees, mentor and grow our Generalist and Business Partner, and serve as a consultant to management on all human resource-related issues.

What You'll Do

This is an integral part of the People Team and will play a critical role in defining and executing our people initiatives with the overall goal of retaining, engaging and developing the best talent for the organization.  You will mentor and grow our People Success Team comprised of Business Partners and HR Generalists to deliver on the following core responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to direct reports and build a highly capable team through the attraction, training and development of the necessary skilled professionals to achieve business goal and build the talent moral and team culture globally
  • Guide the vision, strategy and daily operations of the HR Business Partner functions globally
  • Utilize people metrics to drive key insights and decisions around engagement and retention
  • Design, implement, and iterate of new people programs, as well as assess and improve current programs
  • Manage talent review and succession planning programs to guide the identification, investment in and the development of our people
  • Counsel, coach and drive leaders/ managers on talent issues including performance management, high potential employee identification, and poor performer reduction.
  • Work closely with all client groups to gain comprehensive business literacy and understanding all the specific details and nuances of the organizations.
  • Partner with OneTrust’s legal department to effectively support investigative processes of employee complaints and resolve conflicts, compliance, and sensitive work-related issues
  • Monitor and review employment process, policy and procedure to ensure alignment to Company’s goals and business objectives and compliance with all federal, state and international employment laws
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.



What We're Looking For:

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Human Resources or equivalent
  • HR certifications (i.e. SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP) highly preferred
  • 7-10+ years proven strategic HR experience (preferably in software development environment)
  • Experience building and managing a HR team to successful meet business and people initiatives
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, retention and engagement with deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in managing multi-state employee populations – particularly with California is highly desired
  • Experience supporting geographic expansion domestically and internationally highly preferred 
  • Advanced project management, change management and organizational design skills with current knowledge of models, tools, resources and practices that support impactful outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and create solutions to address those issues
  • High level of integrity, fairness, and consistency in their decision-making and will stop at nothing to safeguard compliance standards and company values
  • Strong coaching, management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence
