The Director of Human Resources manages the overall Human Resources services, policies and programs for PTC Group Holdings Corp., including recruitment and staffing, performance management, labor relations, employee and leadership development, HR regulatory compliance, employee orientation, policy development and documentation, employee relations, employee communication, compensation and benefits administration, employee activities and events and employee wellness and health. He or she works closely with top level management to establish policies and implement procedures for the management of Human Resources to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company within budget and within applicable legal requirements.

Essential Functions:
• Supervise the Human Resources department staff consisting of 5 direct reports.
• Manage the planning and budgeting needs for the Human Resources department.
• Develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
• Develop and implement benefit and compensation strategies that ensure recruitment and retention of talent.
• Ensure proper recruitment and selection procedures and training to maintain an effective workforce and to ensure equal opportunity and cultural sensitivity and competency.
• Oversee the classification and compensation of positions. Ensure studies and analysis are performed and make recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer regarding such matters. Make appropriate individual salary recommendations as necessary.
• Assist in facilitating the annual performance review process.
• Oversee the development and training of employees, supervisors, managers and directors.
• Handle employee relations issues, including discipline, grievances, or meeting and conferring on issues related to employment with the Company.
• Oversee HR metrics and ensure goals are being met.
• Develops and maintains a Human Resource information system that meets the Company’s personnel information needs.
• Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
• Provide coaching for individual leaders to improve their leadership competency.
• Network with a variety of vendors and professional organizations to stay abreast of tools, resources, and products that heighten the level of talent development within the Company.
• Develops strategies for labor relations and participate in negotiations for 6 union locations.

Experience & Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration preferred.
• 5 - 7 years of Human Resources experience at a management level.
• HR Generalist, business partner experience; PHR/SPHR or equivalent experience.
• Considerable experience in personnel administration with responsibility for comprehensive Human Resource management.
• Experience in labor relations, including labor negotiations and the handling of grievances and arbitrations.
• Experience in the administration of benefit plans, including 401(k) Plans, medical, dental, and vision benefits.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying major Human Resource development initiatives (i.e. performance management systems, development and training initiatives, HRIS systems, succession planning, executive development, etc).
• Experienced in creating, managing and sustaining multiple projects and plans with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills (i.e. verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal) are required.
• Proficiency utilizing MS Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook) is required.
• Strong presentation skills are essential in this role.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and multi-tasking.
