Williams Parker seeks an exceptional executive to lead, develop, and operate our HR/Talent Development function. This senior position reports to the COO and focuses on recruiting, developing talent, and employee relations. We have 47 attorneys across a handful of practice areas and 55 staff members supporting our operations. Click here for a short video describing us. We are growing in terms of headcount and have a growth mindset in terms of management. You will be an integral member of the leadership team

Essential Duties:

  • Effectively collaborate and work with firm leadership to build consensus around HR strategy and initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and administer the human resource budget to ensure best use of firm resources
  • Develop, analyze, interpret, and track metrics to evaluate HR’s contributions to the firm’s goals

Workforce Planning

  • Develop comprehensive talent recruiting plans to meet the needs of the firm
  • Develop strategies to brand/market the firm to potential qualified applicants

Talent Development

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing staff talent development plan, attorney professional development, professional and leadership development, training, and coaching
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate talent development programs that include assessing and developing talent

Total Rewards

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate compensation and rewards structure, policies, and programs to support the firm’s goals and objectives


  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the firm’s benefits function
  • Coordinate external professionals and staff to assist in the design and administration of firm benefits

Employee Relations

  • Establish and communicate workplace policies and procedures and monitor their application and enforcement to ensure consistency. Periodically review policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure human resource activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations


  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a human resources executive in a professional services organization
  • BS/BA degree

Highly Desired

  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
  • JD, MBA, or other advanced degree
