Job Classification: Full-Time Exempt

Summary of Position: The Director of Human Resources (HR) at Dynamic Communities is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions and activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including plan design and offerings as well as ongoing analysis and maintenance
  • Develop, administer and review HR policies and procedures for the company
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and documentation
  • Research, implement, and administer appropriate HR systems and platforms
  • Manage unemployment insurance, worker’s compensation and payroll tax filings
  • Manage payroll, compensation plans, staff salary budget and related reporting
  • Implement and manage company talent management programs including employee culture surveys, employee recognition and retention, performance management, professional development, career path, and performance reviews
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring and onboarding of new employees
  • Participate in extended leadership team, contributing to development and execution of company strategy
  • Perform other related duties within the scope of position as require

 

 

Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, Human Resources or closely related field
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience managing HR functions and teams
  • Experience working in high growth companies, with a focus in small business
  • Experience developing and building out HR programs
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and build trusted relationships
  • Ability to work effectively with senior level executives and diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience implementing HRIS systems, administering company medical and 401k plans

 

Preferred:

  • Experience developing compensation plans and benefit plans
  • Experience implementing and managing HR systems and platforms
  • Strong budgeting and data management abilities
  • Effective leadership and decision-making skills
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred
