We are expanding our leadership team to accommodate growth and seek a strong DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES to manage and execute all aspects of our HR function. This person works on a range of matters including talent management, compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, full-cycle recruiting, and others.  


Duties and responsibilities of the Director of HR include:

  • Build and maintain an effective human resources function and structure that aligns with our core values and provides excellent service to all associates at Tribute;
  • Engage in all aspects of recruiting and benefits administration, advise on employee relations matters, develop performance management systems, and other similar matters;
  • Collaborate with company leaders on organizational and associate development that supports our business growth in a strategic manner;
  • Use data and applicable metrics to inform decisions and advice to others; and
  • Ensure legal compliance and proper record-keeping relevant to HR.


Minimum qualifications for the position include:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ work experience in human resources as a generalist with increasing levels of responsibility in all or most areas of HR including full-cycle recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, etc.;
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a relevant field of study preferred (HR, business, etc.), HR credential a plus (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with strong group presentation skills;
  • Must relate well to people from diverse backgrounds and possess good emotional intelligence;
  • Must be an energetic, solutions-oriented person with sound operational/tactical HR skills, great critical thinking skills, a pro-active approach, and good judgment;
  • Proven success in leadership roles combined with at least 1-2 years’ experience managing others; and
  • Past experience in our industry and/or in multi-state environments helpful.

We currently have operations in Boston, Baltimore, and Northern New Jersey with new locations opening soon. The Director of HR is based in the Boston area and travels to visit associates in other locations. The Boston location is near Sullivan Square and convenient to the T Orange Line.
