Provides strategic HR leadership and professional expertise in all areas of Human Resources to help drive business success through organizational effectiveness, talent management, change management, employee engagement and proactive employment practices and policies.  Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Reviews, recommends, and implements changes of the global organization's Human Resource policies, procedures and practices; effectively communicates these changes and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
  2. Drives effective recruitment, pre-boarding, and onboarding processes to attract, engage and retain sustainable talent into the organization and throughout the employee lifecycle.
  3. Analyzes trends and business metrics to develop solutions and changes to programs, policies, and practices.
  4. Maintains in-depth knowledge of trends and changes in human resource legislation, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Consults with legal counsel as needed/appropriate.
  5. Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all employment matters.
  6. Seeks and gathers information from multiple sources including business metrics, exit interviews, stay interviews, associate engagement surveys, and other conversations with employees and managers to evaluate all elements of the employment relationship to recommend action plans where appropriate to improve work relationships, build morale, boost employee engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
  1. Drives increased effectiveness in the annual review process, including preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.
  2. Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on HR matters.
  1. Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization.
  2. Develops and maintains a human resource information system that meets the organization's HR information needs.
  3. Supervises the staff of the human resource department.
  4. Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Master's degree preferred.
  • Four to 10 years' related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR Certification
