Confidio is rapidly growing and looking to expand our team once again. We are looking to fill a full-time Director of Human Resources and Operations position located locally in the Baltimore or DC Metro Area.

DESCRIPTION
Director of Human Resources and Operations is responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of a company's human resources. Provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees
  • Design and implement training programs for new employees
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions
  • Be the main contact with Insperity our PEO
  • Oversee selection and administration of health benefits including medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD and Life insurance
  • Conduct all on-boarding and initial training schedule for new employees
  • Approve payroll and make any corrections, add commissions/bonus when appropriate
  • Manage the review process for all managers ensuring reviews are completed and executed each year
  • Develop and maintain policies/procedures and employee files, including disciplinary actions, promotions, vacation, and sick leave
  • Create and implement employee relations policies to help increase employees’ job satisfaction
  • Motivate and support current staff including managing Team Member of the Month, Employee Referral Program and other incentive programs
  • Respond to questions or complaints from employees in a timely fashion
  • Communicate with employees about compensation, benefits, and other facets of their employment
  • Accomplish special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
  • Adhere to Confidio’s Information Security Management System as well as all other company policies
  • Assist ISO team with new projects and implementation plans

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • 10+ years’ experience in human resources department
  • 3+ years’ experience in a HR leadership position
  • Strong understanding of benefits administration, payroll and other HR functions
  • Experience working at a PBM or PBM consulting firm preferred
  • Certification a plus
  • Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills
  • Independent critical thinking
