SIMCOM Aviation Training offers business and general aviation pilots personalized simulator-based training for an exceptional value in a friendly environment. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team of professionals.  This position will be part of the leadership team and will help in shaping the goals and culture of the company.

  1. Work with the Executive Management team in communicating the company culture and ensuring that all HR practices support the message.
  2. Reviews and makes recommendations to Executive Management for improvement of company's policies, procedures, and practices on HR matters. Communicates changes in company personnel policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed.
  3. Lead company recruiting effort to attract best possible talent for open positions,  This includes designing and implementing overall recruiting strategy, sourcing and attracting candidates using databases, social media, etc.
  4. Negotiate all benefit packages. Continually look for better plans or ways to package the plan to benefit the employee and be cost effective for the company.
  5. Administer the 401(k) plan, communicate benefits to employees and ensure compliance with regulations.
  6. Look for ways to improve the onboarding process so that employees learn about the company culture, receive and understand the policies of the company and the benefits offered.
  7. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation. Advise Executive Management on compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all HR matters.
  8. Provide advice to managers on dealing with sensitive employees issues. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate on these issues.
  9. Develop and maintains a payroll and human resources information system that meets company personnel information needs.
  10. Keeps up to date in changes in employment laws and implements practices and procedures needed to keep the company compliant.


  • General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration; knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of personnel management
  • Ability to apply and adapt practices and techniques to the special requirements of Executive Management
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public;
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in related field.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certified.
  • At least ten years’ experience in a Human Resources Management role five of those years as a Manager, Director or VP. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; adaptable to other computer programs.
