Responsibilities:

Thought leader accountable to establish and execute the HR technology roadmap in order to bring best practices and innovation that deliver a high quality, engaging and simplified candidate, employee and manager experience while also delivering productivity and efficiency to the organization.

Responsible to provide leadership and support for the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of strategic, technical and operational plans to support and facilitate technology excellence, data management, data privacy, and development of analytics.

Accountable to identify opportunities for improvements in system practices and procedures, as well as the design, implementation and support for the adoption of new technology to increase efficiency and compliance while maximizing the highest level of quality.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HR Technology
  • Direct the performance of gap analysis on capabilities and identify improvement / investment opportunities; set priorities, establish business case, secure leadership support and oversee the development and implementation of project plans and execution.
  • Provide thought leadership on HR technology solutions and strategies for new programs, projects and enhancements to existing solutions. Partner with the various teams across the organization (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) to support business applications by advising best practices, recommending process improvements and implementing system enhancements that advance the goals of the business.
  • Stay current with HR technology industry trends and lead the adoption of strategic technologies across all HR, business and IT stakeholders.
  • Influence and support the strategic IT roadmap for the function. Work with HR and IT peers to help define, develop and maintain strategic and tactical programs and plans.
  • Partner with Corporate Security, IT, and the HR users to ensure that new applications/systems/HR tech tools are appropriately assessed to meet business needs and ensure compliance
  • Workforce Analytics and HR Data Privacy
  • Oversee the establishment of processes, documentation and standards for data structure, quality, and HR data access design.
  • Establish and execute an analytics strategy to uncover data-driven insights that enable the company to better attract, develop, motivate and retain talent. Refine the technology and capabilities roadmap that will enable the team to develop predictive workforce analytics capabilities.
  • Establish process, controls, and educational strategy to meet/exceed requirements of the HR Data Privacy Procedures the HR process owners
  • People Leadership
  • Lead a team of professionals and IT professionals to ensure goals are aligned with business priorities. Ensure development plans for each team member support business needs and individual aspirations.
  • Lead the team to develop best practices and streamlined processes, and create a highly productive, professional, consultative, service-oriented culture.
  • This role is accountable for complex project management completion including large project teams with members in various locations and time zones, multiple stakeholders, and significant impacts to systems and processes. Requires high people skills in order to influence, collaborate, motivate, and above all drive timely and effective results.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Requires a level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of a relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent on the job experience.
  • Must have experience with selection, implementation and management of HR technologies, vendor management, HR data management and HR analytics, complex project management and people management.
  • Requires the proficiency level of an experienced leader with significant work experience and demonstrated successes, typically attained with a minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility, preferably in a global company and/or highly matrixed organization, in related areas including vendor management, systems and applications management, data analytics, organizing and leading project work, selection and implementation of technology
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, set priorities, allocate resources and manage several complex projects simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Strong functional HR process and practice acumen and technical aptitude.
  • Progressively responsible experience in HR systems management, including experience with large-scale, best-in-class HCM cloud-based systems and working with Agile methodology.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to provide strategic direction to the team and drive high team member motivation and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements into system improvements that ultimately advance the initiatives of the enterprise.
  • Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable with executing multiple priorities with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Exemplary analytical skills demonstrating the ability to use data to uncover insights that drive action.
  • Strong problem solving and investigative skills and knowledge of internal controls.
  • Advanced computer skills, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) especially for analysis and presentation of data, and communication of strategy to influence key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and change management (e.g. Lean Six Sigma)
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise considerable judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance for the company
