Curriculum Developer and E-Learning Specialist

CIBT is building the global training team in an effort to transform the delivery of training. In order to provide learning opportunities to our 1500 team members across 22 countries, we need to leverage technology to develop, design and deploy an engaging training program. Curriculum Developer:

The Curriculum Developer is responsible for developing and implementing global training programs that align with organizational objectives and priorities. With a forward focus, the Curriculum Develop will develop curriculum, create content and build course support materials; oversee the coordination of design, delivery and deployment, ensuring a consistent delivery of training programs across our global footprint.

 

  • Within the first 6 months the incumbent will drive the transformation of training delivery:

    • Partners with HR in implementing an on-line new hire/on-boarding program

    • Partners with E-Learning Specialist in evaluating learning and content software

    • Develops project plan for auditing and rebranding of training

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field

    • 5+ years experience in curriculum and content development, and developing training for remote adult learners

    • Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to draft narrative and copy, instructional text

    • Experience with course development software and learning management systems

    • Visual design and ability to storyboard

E-Learning Specialist:

The E-Learning Specialist will leverage technology, maximizing functionality of our LMS in order to create interactive and engaging courses; develop and maintain templates for rapid course development, ensuring consistent branding. Authors content, creating and deploying engaging on-line training; develop course evaluations and knowledge assessments. Acts as the internal (technical) systems expert for our LMS and content development software.

 

  • Within the first 6 months the incumbent will drive the transformation of training delivery:
    • Evaluate software, recommending and implementing enhanced functionality

    • Conduct an audit of the LMS, ensuring accurate and updated records

    • Chart e-learning / training / content and create standard enrollment practices

    • Bachelor’s degree in Training, Graphics or related field

    • 3-5 years experience leveraging technology to create online/e-learning for remote employee base

    • Proficiency in course development software such as Articulate or Captivate required

    • Experience developing and deploying a multi-media training delivery

    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
