Bell Helicopter is seeking an experienced HR Compliance Specialist to add to our team. The role is located in the Fort Worth, TX global headquarters.      

The HR Compliance Specialist implements, communicates, and maintains a corporate HR compliance program that is designed to identify risk, ensure adherence with all applicable HR related legal/regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as mitigate loss and protect the company. The Human Resources Compliance Specialist reports to the HR Compliance Leader.  

At Bell, this is a key role is focused on a broad scope of activities to ensure compliance with HR Laws, Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, and Diversity, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to promote and support nondiscrimination, as well as, equal access and opportunity in the U.S. workplace.  This role also acts as a trusted adviser with extensive knowledge of compliance best practices. 


  • Communicate the requirements of US laws and regulations to HR teams. Lead and advise them on how to create/enhance processes and systems that drive compliance.
  • Conduct US-wide HR audits on a regular basis. Coach HR teams on issues, analyze root cause, and suggest operational excellence concepts to in compliance.
  • Oversee compliance reporting (Affirmative Action, EEO, VETS, etc.) for all US regions. Partner with HR Centers or Excellence and Business Partners to design, implement and maintain their programs.
  • Develop and implement global and domestic HR policies and procedures. Periodically reviews HR policies, programs and practices for regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in committees for US or global initiatives, such as data protection.
  • Develop HR policy/procedure communication; design and occasionally deliver employee training.
  • Stay current with applicable US HR-related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Support business development to ensure integration of HR compliance in acquisitions and integration efforts.
  • Lead and support efforts to establish operational excellence within HR.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Business/Human Resource and/or related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years general Human Resources Compliance related work experience
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interface at multiple levels; handle sensitive matters with discretion; and apply strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-directed to handle multiple priorities, complex problems, and process issues.
  • Proven project and change management skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills; experienced in policy writing and implementation. A clear writer, able to quickly and articulately prepare clear and appropriate correspondence, reports, etc. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead compliance efforts with a high sense of urgency.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment-related laws and guidance (FLMA, ADA, OFCCP, FLSA and other applicable law); working knowledge of global laws.
  • Experience implementing AAP programs, overseeing OFCCP and internal HR audits.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can work independently, but who also functions as a team member.

Compensation is commensurate with a Sr HR Specialist with at least 5 years of experience. (This is an individual contributor role.)
