dormakaba is hiring a Compensation Partner in Indianapolis, IN.

The Compensation Partner is responsible for delivering compensation expertise and alignment to Segment and Group policies within their respective client groups through the HR Business Partners. The Compensation Partner:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for compensation related topics for the HR Business Partners within their client group
  • Administers the annual merit process including building worksheets, training HR Business Partners, and preparing imports for Payroll and HR Shared Services
  • Consults with HRBPs and line managers on offers of employment, promotional increases and other off-cycle adjustments
  • Runs the annual salaries & wages budgeting process with HR Business Partners for their client groups
  • Calculates all incentive comp for individuals within their client group
  • Develops communication materials for managers and employees around incentive compensation plans such as target and payout sheets
  • Evaluates positions and maintains job structures for their respective units in line with the overall segment and group structure
  • Prices specific jobs within their client groups to determine target compensation in line with budgets, internal equity, and job structures
  • Consults with line managers and HRBPs on re-organizations and their impact to employees including job evaluation, RIF planning, and compensation changes
  • Manages compensation projects within their client groups

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Social Sciences and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in compensation
  • Working knowledge of incentive compensation, pricing and job evaluation theories and practices
  • Cross functional HR knowledge across all HR disciplines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Business Proficiency in English is required
