BASIC FUNCTION:

Administers base pay and incentive programs for exempt and non-exempt employees. Partners with Manager, HR and SVP/CTO to analyze and improve processes, and leverage return on technical capabilities. Manages HRIS setup, upgrades and ongoing function. Serves as technical point of contact for HR staff, managers and employees on HRIS. Ensures data integrity, testing of system changes, and report writing training and support.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPENSATION

  • Recommends appropriate compensation and FLSA status for internal and external job offers
  • Determines job grading for new roles, utilizing variety of resources to ensure pay equity within credit union’s compensation structure
  • Administers annual merit increase process and off-cycle compensation adjustments as needed
  • Administers incentive programs including annual EIP, quarterly SIP and LPC, and monthly MLO and BDO commission payments
  • As needed, re-evaluates job grading and pay ranges for all exempt and non-exempt positions

HRIS

  • Performs system upgrades, configurations, set up and testing; conducts audits to insure data integrity. Resolves technical issues and ensures new releases for the HRIS are operational
  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects technical problems and difficulties
  • Develops, coordinates, and communicates HRIS programs via training modules, written materials, intranet, or oral presentation. Trains and assists users of HRIS system
  • Creates reports of varying complexity for Human Resource staff and senior management
  • Develops and coordinates the annual open enrollment process, setting up benefit plans and other related functions associated with this annual process Evaluates and redesigns benefit plans,/processes to streamline the open enrollment process. Monitors 3rd party data feeds to ensure accurate transmission.
  • Prepares and submits EEO-1 Report, Vets 4212 Report, OSHA 300, ACA 1095-C and other annual or periodic reporting
  • Provides backup for Payroll processing function when needed throughout the year
  • Provides backup for HRIS training for new hires as needed

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related, plus three to five years of experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs and HRIS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 PHR or SPHR preferred.
