Key Responsibilities:          

  • Develops and executes human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and total rewards.
  • Provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team. Leading a talented group of HR professionals, this role is responsible for the management of talent for a population of 2500+ associates at multiple domestic locations.
  • Lead strategic planning to anticipate change initiatives that improve people productivity, development and organizational effectiveness.
  • Coach and develop executives and other leadership through relationships and influence.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, engagement, compensation and benefits.



Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.), Masters degree preferred, from accredited institution; 15 plus years relevant experience, OR, equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SPHR certification preferred.

  • Strategic organizational development and talent development and be able to evaluate and implement HR related programs and initiatives; work with a variety of organizational leadership to build consensus around HR strategy and tactics; have a demonstrated background in talent management and leadership management as well as have a proven ability to attract and retain outstanding talent
  • Mediation and facilitation of conflicts in a manner that is a model for the organization and results in appropriate resolution.
  • The Chief Human Resources Officer will also have had proven and successful experience delivering innovative HR programs within a fast paced, evolving, and wide organizational setting.
  • Demonstrate our EPIC beliefs as well as honesty, integrity, responsibility and fulfillment of commitments.
  • The selected executive must have the ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function through his/her professional qualifications and leadership skills as well as project the highest levels of integrity.
  • Demonstrated executive coaching and leadership with a solid track record of collaborating with senior management.
  • Legal literacy to ensure a culture of compliance and integrity at every level of the organization.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, persuasion and influencing skills and ability to negotiate and diffuse conflict.
  • Strong business acumen to fully comprehend the corporate strategy and provide effective partnership to ensure its implementation.
