How you’ll make a difference:
As Custom Ink’s Benefits Specialist, you’ll take ownership of our amazing benefits programs and create  innovative ways to engage Inkers to elevate team member well-being while balancing team member care with financially-responsible and cost effective outcomes. 

You’ll use your curiosity, tenacity, and genuine care for people to ensure our benefits meet the needs of our team (now and in the future) and remain competitive. In this role, you’ll deliver a high-touch experience our team of “Inkers” have come to appreciate while finding meaningful ways to  educate them about their benefits to ensure high team satisfaction and engagement.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial benefits guru to work in a fast-paced, fun, energetic, and innovative company. The majority of your time will be geared towards benefits administration and plan design, team member-focused education and engagement, and some compliance and regulation within the benefits and overall TD (HR) space. You’ll report to our VP of Performance & Rewards.

What you’ll do:
It is so important to us that our team remains happy and healthy, and to do that you’ll play a vital part in making sure our team is supported by great benefits. With that, duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Ownership of the entire lifecycle of a team member’s benefits
  • Delivering high-touch, caring, and confidential administration of our benefits and guiding team members through all life events
  • Ensuring extremely timely delivery of support to team members, leaders, and TD peers
  • Switching from day-to-day maintenance to long-term strategic planning to ensure our benefits run well today and are ready for tomorrow
  • Receptive of feedback and approaches all situations knowing effort and attitude determine ability
  • Maintaining, iterating, and owning systems, processes, and all related benefits communications and records

How you’ll be measured:
This role is critical to the health and performance of our team and business. Key measures of success in this role will include:

  • Team satisfaction ratings related to the impact of benefits on well-being and performance
  • Cost optimization and effectiveness, and overall financially sound administration of our robust benefits programs
  • Efficiencies identified and delivered to streamline supporting systems and processes

What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • 4-6 years owning benefits function for similarly team-centric, dynamic organization dedicated to deliver results on team well-being
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of others through your work
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate decisions impacting our team and our bottom-line with a “do the right thing” approach
  • Experience operating within a high-performing and results-oriented HR function at a rapidly growing organization
  • Proven experience with HRIS and benefit system configuration and compliance
  • Experience guiding team members and leaders through benefit-related decisions
  • The highest level of credibility, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Certified Benefits Professional certification a plus!
  • Workday experience which is critical to our benefits administration
