The Benefits Manager is responsible for supervision and administration of employee benefits. This position develops, recommends and installs approved, new or modified plans and employee benefits policies and supervises administration of existing plans. This position develops cost control procedures to assure maximum coverage at the least possible cost to company and employee.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks which require close attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations regarding human resource, benefits and compensation practices i.e., FLSA, ADA, EEO
  • Substantial business acumen
  • Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between rewards and other HR initiatives and business strategy
  • Ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis
  • Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people
  • Effective team player and networker
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Certification in Benefits preferred
