Position Overview

Manage administration, implementation, operations and delivery for the Bridge to Business Program, and any new programs developed, in collaboration with the Director of Executive Education and Director of Academic Business Affairs. Provide the necessary administrative, development, technical, and logistical coordination necessary for program implementation and success. Assist the Dean and Director with strategic decisions regarding direction and development of Executive Education programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee all elements of customized Executive Program implementation and delivery for external executive audiences, including: planning, budgeting, marketing, registration, logistical details, instructional materials, evaluations, faculty, vendors, and on-site coordination.
2. In collaboration with the Director, plan customized executive programs and program strategies, including development of curricular structure, program budget, faculty selection, and logistical details.
3. Attend client meetings with Director and assist in presenting and providing information, planning, developing, and improving Executive Program offerings.
4. Provide input on identification and selection of faculty with Assistant Dean and Director.
5. Serve as the point person for Executive Programs faculty, including communications related to instruction, logistics, and policies.
6. Oversee development of marketing/advertising materials and web site content, ensuring consistent branding (MU, COBA and Executive Education). Create and maintain a social media presence for executive education to create awareness and reinforce the marketing plan. Conduct marketing and competitive research to support business development.
7. Create individual program budgets for customized program offerings and advise Directors on budgetary issues.
8. Review Executive Program client proposals and advise Director to ensure compliance with budgetary and logistics considerations
9. In collaboration with Director, create program contracts and monitor contract execution process.
10. Monitor all Executive Program expenses
11. Monitor Executive Program revenue and supervise initiation of program invoices and corporate payment processes.
12. Develop and maintain relationships with Executive Program external clients and co-sponsors, serving as administrative liaison for programmatic issues and details.
13. Provide feedback on Executive Program quality, faculty delivery, and curricular issues to Director.
14. Supervise student workers, as needed, in executing Executive Program operations and logistics. Supervisory requirements will grow as revenues increase.
15. Establish and design needed processes, forms, and other necessary infrastructure to develop a sustainable Executive Education initiative
16. Ensure College and University policies are followed with regard to Executive Program administration.
17. Ensure College and University academic policies with regard to the Executive Programs are followed
18. Manage logistics of Executive Education events
19. Develop workflow charts for each Executive Program; monitor compliance.
20. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
• 2-5 years of managing higher education or professional development programs
• 2-5 years of supervising staff
• 2-5 years of managing and meeting budgets
• Strong interpersonal and speaking skills
• Project management experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

MBA preferred
