Location: New York, NY

Position Summary:

Participates in the day-to-day administration of employee compensation programs. Serves as a contact for compensation questions. Provides analysis and makes recommendations to support the company's compensation programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the day-to-day administration of compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, and long term incentives (equity).
  • Conducts competitive compensation analysis/benchmarking through job analysis of current and new positions.
  • Provides data management, reporting and analysis for compensation programs.
  • Creates and/or validates adhoc and recurring reports and analysis.
  • Reviews and approves comp related information on requisitions and offers.
  • Assists with HR transactions including compensation and status changes.
  • Ensures correct processing of all salary adjustments and promotions.
  • Audits and validates comp transactions and plans.
  • Completes submission process to compensation surveys.
  • Maintains files and databases of compensation information.
  • Works with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition team with compensation-related issues.
  • Develops and streamlines current processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of compensation administration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.

Requirements and General Skills: 

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain high-level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Compensation experience required, with equity administration preferred.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • General knowledge of Federal and State laws relating to compensation.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel to calculate IF statements, Pivot tables, and VLOOKUP functions.
