Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Temporary Staffing Services, serve as the Coordinator for UCLA Health Temporary Staffing Services which includes UCLA Health Administrative Float Pool staff. Interview and hire candidates through a variety of methods (interview days, open postings, etc.). Assign "floaters" to UCLA Health, SOM, NPI, and FPG departments. Coordinate the onboarding process for all float pool staff. Complete payroll, performance evaluations and compliance for over 100 Administrative Float Pool staff; track temporary assignments and monitor length of assignments. Responsible for the re-charge process for non-UCLA Health float pool assignments/departments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

- 2+ years of recruitment experience (healthcare HR experience preferred) working with full-cycle recruitment

- Working knowledge of current best practices in employment and recruitment.

- Ability to analyze recruitment trends and understand how to apply data to making business decisions

- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.

- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.

- Working knowledge of regulations, statutes and laws related to recruitment and employment.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.

- Technical skills sufficient to effectively use MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, and applicant tracking systems

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
