Summary:

AssuredPartners averages four completed acquisitions a month, is looking to add an Acquisition Analyst to their growing team. The Acquisition Analyst is responsible for the due diligence process, such as verifying and analyzing data related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes. Administrating the setup of new company codes, pay groups and related tax registrations. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collect and analyze benefits, handbook, and employee demographic data during due diligence period, report findings.
  • Manage process and complete all required forms to set up new company codes – Pay groups and link them to Ultimate Employee Pay Services and Payment services.
  • Add new location codes to APworkplace and communicate updates to third party vendors.
  • Coordinate and provide as back up for new tax registrations for federal, state, and locality as needed.
  • Verification and review of tax filings vs. payroll record from acquired groups.
  • Process successorship forms.
  • Conduct audit acquisitions final census information and ensure all information is accurate and loaded to APworkplace.
  • Process and analyze test payrolls for newly acquired groups.
  • Update beginning PTO balances.
  • Review and ensure labor allocations are processed accurately.
  • Provide analysis and support to Acquisition Implementation Department.

  • 4 years continuous (preferred) or total experience in one of the following areas:  payroll, M&A, finance, HR, benefits, or operations
